Kenneth Wayne Lindsey Sr.

Mr. Kenneth Wayne Lindsey Sr., a resident of Denham Springs, passed away on February, 26, 2024 at the age of 86. Mr. Kenneth was born in Longview, Texas on August 28, 1937 to Claude and Elberta Lindsey. He is a graduate from Istrouma High School and owner of Kenny Lindsey Construction and a member of Maranatha Church of God. Kenneth will be remembered for his love of fishing, hunting, classic car collection, being a LSU fan as well as an antique collector.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Dale Lindsey; sons, Gordon Forman, Ron Lindsey (Janet), and Alan Lindsey (Jena); grandchildren, Devan Lindsey (Jessica) and Katie Lindsey; numerous great grandchildren; sister, Vernell Boyd and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death are his parents, Claude and Elberta; sister, Francis Cherry and son, Kenny Wayne Lindsey Jr.

Pallbearers will be, Gordon Forman, Rocky Boyd, David Boyd, Kirk Guilbeau, Jamie Hill, and Steve Smith.

Visitation will take place at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, from 11:00am until service time of 2:00pm. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Services will be officiated by Jacob Douglas, Wayne Austin, and Curtis Silcox.
