A retired welder with Local 198 and U.S. Air Force veteran, he went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 17, 2010, at his resident in Belle River, LA, He was 69 and a native of Magnolia, AR. Visiting at Galilee Baptist Church, 11050 Greenwell Springs-Pt.Hudson Rd., Zachary, LA, Monday, June 21, from 10:30 a.m. until religious service at 12:30 p.m., conducted by Ron Lowery, pastor. Burial will follow. He was preceded in death by his parents, Byrd L. and Mildred A. Grace. He is survived by his brother, Phillip Grace; stepchildren, Ricky Waldrop of Central, Roger Waldrop, of Watson and Carol Waldrop, of Central; grandchildren, Clint and Kayla Waldrop, Trent Waldrop and April Monic; Nephews, Joseph, Mickey and Patrick Grace. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. He enjoyed golfing with his buddies and spending time with his Belle River friends. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
