Katharine "Kitty" CourregeKatharine "Kitty" Courrege, 87 years old of Baton Rouge passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at The Crossing. She was born on August 27, 1927 in St. Francisville, daughter of the late William Conville and Willia Hobgood. Kitty always had a story to tell and enjoyed cooking, entertaining with friends, and playing cards which began at a very young age. She was an amazing cook which was passed on to her children and some of her grandchildren who all enjoy cooking. Kitty is survived by her four children; Paul Courrege and his wife Chris, Bill Courrege, Renee Courrege, and Frank Courrege and his wife Dina. She is also survived by her six grandchildren; David Courrege and his wife Jodi, Dallas Schultz and her husband Jason, Ryan and Keri Sievert, and Casie and Cadie Courrege. Kitty also had 4 great grandchildren; Lauren and Colton Courrege and Aspen and Cody Schultz. She is also survived by her brother Conville Hobgood and numerous nieces and nephews who loved their "Aunt Kitty". Three very special people in Kitty's life were Stephen Seal, Ryan Pritchard and Dianne Smith. Preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Paul Courrege, her parents William Conville and Willia Hobgood, and her sister Margaret Lemoine. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St. on Monday, January 26, 2015, 9:00 a.m. until religious services at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, 4045 North St. We will miss you "Kitty Kakes". You are the best!!!!!!!!!!!
