Karen"Kay"Meeker Rowley

A retired State Department of Administration employee and a native of Natchitoches, she died Tuesday, December 10 at her residence in Pride. She was 69. She loved birds and never forgot to send a birthday or anniversary card. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd. on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the religious service at 11:00 a.m. conducted by the Rev. Kevin Hand. Interment in Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Dawn and Greg Womack of West Monroe; 3 grandchildren, Amanda, Vincent and Adreona; a nephew and godson, Kevin O'Neal, a niece, Laurie Kathleen O'Neal Odom, a nephew, Darren O'Neal, a great-niece, Josephine E. Odom, a great-nephew, Archer O. Odom and numerous other relatives. She is also survived by her best friend, Celia Denham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis C. Rowley, her father, Louis Howard Meeker, Jr., her mother, Doris Boydstun Meeker and a sister, Genevieve O'Neal. She was a member of Zoar Baptist Church and attended functions at Healing Place Church.
