Goff, Julie Josephine HauseyJulie Josephine Hausey Goff, age 96, a resident of Baton Rouge passed away July 4, 2016 in Baton Rouge. After graduating from Baton Rouge High School she enrolled and graduated Secretarial School. Julie was retired from the State Times and Morning Advocate. A lifelong member of St. James Episcopal Church, Julie was a member of The Magna Carta Dames, DAR, and The Colonial Dames XVII Century. She is survived by her son, David Goff, and wife, Jan, of Biloxi, MS; daughter, Julie Goff Karns, of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Lauren Guttzeit and husband, Albert, of Ethel, LA, John Goff and wife, C.C., of Sacramento, CA, Lucinda Kent, and husband, Jason, of Jackson, LA, Brenda Turcotte, and husband, Toby, of Baton Rouge, LA, Ashleigh David Vasquez, of Denham Springs, LA, David Karns, of Baton Rouge, LA, Shannon Cabello and husband, Joseph, of Dallas, TX, and Shelby Robert, and husband, Jon, of Baton Rouge; great grandchildren, Joseph, Annie Laurie, and Katherine Guttzeit, Daniel and Devin Kent, Caroline and Samuel Turcotte, Elizabeth Ashleigh Baudoin, Kyle and Erin Karns, and Noah, Josephine and Lucas Robert; and a former daughter in law, Marilyn Meeks Goff. Julie is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph M. Goff, and mother, Julie Josephine Moise Saucier. Services will be held Friday, July 8, 2016, at 10:30 am at St. James Episcopal Church conducted by Rev. Ralph Howe. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity organization of your choice. The family would like to thank the staff of Old Jefferson Community Care for their wonderful care, and the staff at Pinnacle Hospice.
