Julian Franklin "Frank" Dantzler, Jr., born Jan. 14, 1938, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at age 72. He was a native of Natchez and resident of Walker. He was a retired press room supervisor for The Advocate. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Wednesday, June 9, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday, June 10, from noon until service at 2 p.m. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Maggie M. Dantzler; daughter, Ann Dantzler; son, Jerry Ross Dantzler; sister, Betty Tageant; three brothers, Jerry, Billy and David Dantzler; and seven grandchildren, Jeanne R. Hall, Jeri Ayn Mulkey Malina and her husband, Jason, Tanya and Garret Dantzler, Meghan Dantzler, Kayla Dantzler and Justin Dantzler. Preceded in death by his son, Julian Edward Dantzler.
