Judith "Gigi" Matthews

Judith Matthews, native of Mississippi and resident of Baton Rouge, was called home to the Lord on March 28, 2014 at the age of 68. She was a devoted, 40 year member of Florida Blvd. Baptist Church where she spent many years teaching Sunday school and doing mission work. Judith was a business woman with a skill for decorating, joy for shopping, and love for Christ. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Judith was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and daughter who is survived by her son, Troy Allen Matthews and wife, Kelley Balez Matthews; two daughters, Michelle Matthews and Tiffany Matthews; four granddaughters, Cydney Andermann and husband Duece, Jourdan SinClair Albritton, Madison Matthews and Morgan Matthews; mother, Kathryn Warren; sisters, Rebecca Warren and Kay Hodges; and brother, Michael Warren. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Allen Matthews; father, John Lee Warren, and sister, Pam Berryhill. Visitation will be held on Monday March 31, 2014 at Florida Blvd. Baptist Church from 5PM-8PM. Visiting hours will resume on Tuesday April 1, 2014 from 11AM until Funeral Service at 12PM. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
