Juanita Sanchez

Juanita Jeansonne Sanchez, native of New Orleans and resident of Baton Rouge passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the age of 77. Juanita retired from The Catholic Diocese of Baton Rouge where she worked as a secretary at St. Thomas More and St. Gerard Majella schools. She was also a parishioner at St. Patrick’s Church. A loving mother and grandmother, Juanita is survived by her sons, Joey Sanchez and wife Suzy and Carl Sanchez; daughter, Anna Burke and husband, Tim; grandchildren, Megan Sanchez, Kyle Kokes, Hannah Sanchez, Hayden Sanchez, Cade Sanchez, and Chad Sanchez. She is preceded in death by her husband, E.J. Sanchez, Jr.; parents, Carl and Anna Jeansonne; Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Friday, March 13, 2015 from 6pm-9pm, with the rosary beginning at 7:30PM. Visitation will resume at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 12pm until Mass of Christian Burial at 1PM being conducted by Father Matthew Dupre.
