Josephine Schroeder

Josephine Mancuso Schroeder, born July 30, 1924, a native of Texarkana, TX and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Saturday February 4, 2012 at the age of 87. She retired from State Roofing and Supply Co. where she worked for 62 years as the book keeper. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by many. She is survived by two sons, Clyde Conrad Schroeder III of Lafayette and Michael John Schroeder of Baton Rouge; sister, Francis Reynolds of Leander, TX; niece Janice Rawlins of Leander, TX; five grandchildren, Christy Lynn Schroeder of Walker, Laurie Ann Schroeder of Baton Rouge, Jason Derek Schroeder of Walker, Angelle Schroeder McDonald of Bowling Green, KY, and Kimberly Schroeder Villanova of Paducah, KY; 10 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Conrad Schroeder Jr.; her parents, Joseph and Fannie Mancuso; and sister, Evelyn Mancuso. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mercy on Tuesday from 1pm until mass of Christian Burial at 2pm. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
