Joseph Anthony Misuraca was a loving son, brother and uncle, he passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the age of 47. He was a resident of Baton Rouge and was employed at Winn Dixie. Joseph is survived by his parents, Vincent and Anna Mae Zito Misuraca; one brother and sister in law, V.J. and Tami Misuraca; one sister and brother in law, Vickie and Floyd Braud; nephew Trey Misuraca and nieces, Ashley Braud, Kristie Braud and Paige Misuraca, all of Baton Rouge. He was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr and Mrs Vito Misuraca and Mr and Mrs Joe Zito. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd on Monday, December 3, 2012 from 5pm to 9pm with the recitation of the rosary at 7pm, and on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church , 14040 Greenwell Springs Road, from 11am until Mass of Christian burial at 1pm. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park Cemetery
