John L. Hobgood II

John “Jack” Leslie Hobgood II passed away at home on April 9th after a lengthy illness, at the age of 67. A lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was a graduate of LSU and LSU Business School in Baton Rouge and remained a life-long LSU Tigers fan. He was preceded in death by his father Dr. Leslie D. Hobgood, mother Florence S. Hobgood, and his twin sister Cynthia Hobgood. He is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Cynthia Sadler Hobgood and their children Christin H. Langford, Dr. John (Caroline) Hobgood III, Dr. Meredith (Sean) Boudreaux, Lauren Hobgood, and James Hobgood. He is also survived by his sister Amy (Jeff) Hayden, his beloved granddaughters Madeleine Langford and Elizabeth Hobgood, as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 9am-11am on Friday April 14, 2023 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home on Florida Boulevard, with a service to follow. He was loved and admired by many and will be greatly missed.
