Heaven has gained a special angel! John Kenneth Doucet passed away on Monday, November 27th, at Ochsner Hospital in Baton Rouge. John was 68 years old, and a resident of Denham Springs, where he worked for Dugas Trading Post Wrecker Services. John never met a stranger and was loved by many, he enjoyed spending time with his family and playing bourre. He is survived by his daughters Michelle Doucet Bell, Tina Doucet, Brandy Doucet, and Jordyn Doucet, ex-wife Wanda Doucet, 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren, his mother Sarah Duplechain, six sisters Lou Boyd, Mona Baker, Nona Doucet, Cyndi Doucet, Lisa Putnam, and Cathy Doucet. Numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Edmond J. Doucet. Visitation will start on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Hebron Baptist Church at 24063 LA 16, Denham Springs, LA 70726. Visitation will continue Friday, December 1, 2017 at 11:00am until service time at 12:00pm at Hebron Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
