Joe Lewis, Jr., a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, died peacefully Friday, Feb. 10, 2023 at the age of 78. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a joy to all who knew him. Survived by his loving and devoted wife, Marsha S. Lewis, daughter and son-in-law, Brandy and Blaine D'Armond; daughter, Julie Lewis; sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and John Cooper; brother-in-law, Wayne St. Romain; grandchildren, Austin and Madi D'Armond; and nephews, Chad Cooper, Chance Cooper, and Coby Cooper. Upon his retirement as an executive for many years with IBM, Joe loved spending time with his wife, family, and friends, enjoying good food and living life full of laughter. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741. Family and friends will have a celebration of life at a later date.
