Joanne Malone Ingle, 79, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away peacefully at St. Joseph Hospice House on Saturday, May 11, 2013. Born on July 16, 1933 in Center, Texas, she was the daughter of Samuel Hayden and Kelsie Wallace Malone. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Sam Houston State University (SHSU) in Huntsville, Texas, where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, Student Union Board and Who's Who Among Students In American Colleges and Universities. In 1955, she married H. Mack Ingle. After living in Biloxi, Mississippi and Long Island, New York, they relocated to Baton Rouge in 1957. Joanne and Mack were among the founders of the Baton Rouge Chapter of the American Association of Individual Investors (AAII). They shared a passion for travel and enjoyed many years of international travel. She was a member of Broadmoor United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Mack; son, James Carl Ingle of Houston, Texas; daughter, Janna Ingle Sowers (Michael) of Tupelo, Mississippi; brother, Hayden Wallace "Pat" Malone of Brenham, Texas; grandchildren Joshua Cade Rios, Hayden Michael Sowers, Graham Thomas Sowers, and Natalie Louise Sowers. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jon Malone Ingle; and granddaughter, Kelsie Reynolds Sowers. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 15 at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., from 11:30 a.m. until funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
