Joan S. Jones, 87, a resident of Baywood, Louisiana, passed away on May 25, 2023. Joan was a lifelong member of Bethany Baptist Church of Baywood. She had 3 daughters, Jennifer Gaskins (Mike), Jodie Butler (Brett), and Jessie Jones Clark (Wesley); 5 grandchildren, Kali McDaniel (Mark), Kelsey White (Jordan), Sydney Gaskins, Zachary Butler and Lucille Brodnax; 6 great grandchildren, Charlee, Bennett, Noah, Zayne, Zetta and Gideon. Joan is preceded in death by her husband, John Ell “Safety” Jones. A private memorial service will be held at her family residence. We would like to thank St. Joseph’s Hospice at The Carpenter House, for their care and compassion.
