Jerry D Jones

Jerry was called to his heavenly home on Sunday, October16, 2022 at the age of 81. He was born in Winnsboro, Louisiana and was a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Jerry loved and adored his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He enjoyed baseball, walking, western movies, reading, and playing golf. He loved the RV life and traveling with his wife, Carol. Jerry was a one of a kind guy who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Carol Fleniken Jones; daughter, Elizabeth “Liz” Jones Carlos (Ty);son, Jerry “Jay” Davis Jones Jr.(Kim); step-daughter, Andrea Patin (Bob); grandchildren, Tyler Jacob Carlos, Caitlin Helene’ Carlos, Skylar Patin; great grandchildren, Dawson Patin and Luca Patin. Jerry is preceded in death by his loving wife of28 years, Helen Carlile Jones; brothers, Luther Leroy Jones Jr.and James Estus Jones; sisters, Flora Dell Jones Kittredge, Jacqueline Jones Moore; parents, Luther Leroy and Odell Brigman Jones; step-son, Christopher Patin. Honorary Pallbearers: Ty Carlos, Clark Carlos, Bob Gill, John Fleniken, and Doug Bingham. A special thanks to In His Care Hospice Staff, especially Stephanie, Yukie, Lisa, and Mr. Booker.
