Jeremy Heath Borne

Jeremy Heath Borne, our beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew and friend, died on Thursday, July 3, 2008, at 3:45 a.m. from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born March 2, 1975, in Baton Rouge. Throughout his short life, he enjoyed working for various restaurants in Baton Rouge as a bartender and cook. He also worked as an assistant manager for Holiday Inn in Port Allen. He is survived by his loving parents, John H. Borne Sr. and Gayle Forbes Borne; a brother and sister-in-law, John H. Borne Jr. and Tracey Shannon Borne; two nephews, Brennan Joseph Borne and Bryson James Borne; grandmother, Mrs. Bell Borne; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Special friends include Sandy O'Connor, Tonya DiBenedetto, Scott Traigle, Gaylon Martin and Shawn Pujol. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Bobbye Hodgeson Forbes Kimbrough; maternal grandfather, Harold B. Forbes; and paternal grandfather, Leonce C. Borne Sr. Serving as pallbearers will be Will Borne, Michael Borne, Scott Traigle, Gaylon Martin, Guy Joe Lato Jr., Shawn Pujol and Jarred Marchand. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Monday, July 7, from 10:30 a.m. until funeral service at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Jerry Martin. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Everyone that Jeremy met was touched in a special way. He was loved by those who knew him and will be sadly missed forever by those who loved him, especially by his two nephews and his brother.
