Jere W. Noto, Sr., native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on April 21, 2022 at the age of 72. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Marilyn G. Noto; daughter, Farrah Schexnayder; son, Jere W. Noto, Jr.; grandsons, Jack and Sam Noto and Beau and Broc Schexnayder; sisters, Cheryl, Karen, and Sandra Noto; brother, Henry A. Noto, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Cynthia Thornhill (Warren) and Debbie Drago (Daryl). He is preceded in death by his parents, Joycelyn Cora Ringe Noto Davidson and Henry A. Noto, Sr.; and father and mother-in-law, Marion and Josie Giammerse.
Jere was a graduate of Central High School and attended LSU. He retired from PolyOne Corporation after 38 years of service and went on to work for Ferrera Apparatus until 2017. Jere was always a big supporter of his kid’s activities and a huge fan of Redemptorist High School. He was a man of few words, but when he did speak it was either brilliant or hilarious. Jere enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing golf, and tinkering with anything and everything. He was truly a brilliant man and a great people person. Jere will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. The family would like to thank Hospice of Baton Rouge and the wonderful staff at Baton Rouge General- Butterfly Wing.
