Jennifer Couvillon Jenkins, a native of Baker and a resident of Denham Springs, LA, born Oct. 2, 1970, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, friend, and nurse, which impacted countless lives in her personal and professional life. Jennifer loved to be with family and friends, but her enthusiasm as a healthcare professional for the past 25 years helped heal countless patients. That passion led her to have a strong belief in organ donation, which will continue her saving and impacting many more lives. Hobbies such as traveling, shopping, and spending time with family and friends gave her great joy. Her character and quick-witted personality were truly amazing. As an avid Tiger fan, she enjoyed many tailgates and trips with her LSU family. She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Chad N. Jenkins; her sons, Christopher “C.J.” Breaux (Caroline) and Hunter Breaux; her daughter, Ali Jenkins Miller (Kody); her grandson, Noah Breaux; and her beloved dogs, Kash and Lola. She is also survived by her two sisters, Christy Smith (Richard) and Cindy Schittone; her in-laws, Leon and Sharon Jenkins; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Ann Couvillon; her paternal grandparents, Edward and Florence Couvillon; and her maternal grandparents, Merlin and Alberta Caillouet. Visitation will be on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 11000 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70815, from 9 am until the Celebration of her life at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation.
