

Jeanne Copponex LorioJeanne Copponex Lorio, 92, died on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 in Clinton, LA. She was a native of Lutcher and a long-time resident of Baton Rouge. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Ferrell Lorio; her parents George Copponex and Theresa Poche Copponex; sisters Norma Reulet (husband Raymond) and Vivian Moreau; brothers Ulric Copponex (wife Alice), Maurice Copponex (wife Mary), George Copponex, Jr. (wife Electa), and Ralph Copponex. Survivors include two sons, Robert Lorio of Houston, TX, Gary Lorio (wife Deborah) of Central, LA; two daughters, Janell Gauthier (husband Gayden) of Zirconia, NC, Amy Curry (husband John) of Slaughter, LA; three grandsons, Jude Primes (wife Lisa), Brent Gauthier (wife Melissa), and Kirk Gauthier, (wife Meghan); five great"”grandchildren, Dylan Primes, Avery Primes, Peyton Gauthier, Jeffrey Marvel, and Eliza Gauthier; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Louis King of France Catholic Church where she was active in the Ladies' Altar Society, and Catholic Daughters, and the Court St. Francis of Assisi #1915.Visitation will be on Monday, July 20, 2015 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East (11000 Florida Boulevard, Baton Rouge, LA 70815) from 5:00pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church (2121 N. Sherwood Forest Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70815) at 9:00am until the Funeral Mass at 11:00am celebrated by Father Philip Eapen, CMI. Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will include Jude Primes, Dylan Primes, Brent Gauthier, Kirk Gauthier, John Curry, and Mike Sterba. Honorary pallbearers will be Gayden Gauthier and Ralph Sterba.
