Janice B. Jones

Our beloved Janice Brignac Jones, a native of French Settlement and a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020, of Covid complications at OLOL hospital at the age of 82. She was the matriarch of her family and a loving and devoted wife and mother. She will be forever cherished and remembered by her loving husband of 59 years, Philip Jones; her two sons and daughters-in-law, Rudy and Laura Jones and Donnie and Lauren Jones; her daughter and son-in-law, Sherrie and Jimmy Posey; her four grandchildren, Ashley, Bryan, Cameron and Alexis; and her four great grandchildren, Emmalyn, Aylin, Cecilia and Ryker.

Janice was the youngest of Ernest and Elmire Brignac’s seven children who all preceded her in death. Janice is now reunited with her mom and dad and her three brothers, Roy Brignac, Amedee Brignac and Raferd Brignac and three sisters, Flossie Keller, Bertha Vicknair, and Doris Lambert. A private service will be held for Janice and she will be laid to rest at Greenoaks Memorial Park, Monday, January 4, 2021.
