James S. “Buddy” Hendry, 84, of Sunshine, LA, passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 30, 2013. He was born on May 21, 1929 in Baton Rouge. He retired from Charles Hogg Mechanical Contractors. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, August 1, 2013 from 8am until funeral service at 10am. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Buddy is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mildred C. “Cully” Hendry; his children, Debbie Landry and husband Ronnie, Kathi Ayres and husband Hoyt, and Jim Hendry; nine grandchildren, Jason Juban, Kim Clement, Patrick Ayres, Lori Lambert, Teri Meliet, David Landry, Kristi Hendry, Lacey Alexander, and Derek Hendry; and 13 great grandchildren.
