
Jacqueline Marie Perron Pederson passed away peacefully Thursday, April 14, 2011, in Baton Rouge. She was born in Superior, Wis., and resided in Baton Rouge since 1956. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Leif; dear granddaughter, Jennifer Wickboldt; and parents, Geraldine Shears and Pascal Perron. Survived by her five children: sons, David and his wife, Janet, Jeffrey and his wife, Terry, and Norman Pederson, all of Raleigh, N.C., and daughters, Jacqueline Fife and her husband, Tim, and Patricia Vasser and her husband, Dave, all of Baton Rouge. She was also blessed with her grandchildren, Jessica Pederson, Michael Pederson, Andy Pederson, Shawn Pederson, Travis Planchard, Allan Clark, Suzanne Vasser, Chris Vasser and Brandon Vasser; and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation at St. Jude Catholic Church, 9150 Highland Road, Wednesday, April 20, at 12:30 p.m., followed by the rosary at 1:30 p.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers will be David Pederson, Jeffrey Pederson, Tim Fife, Andy Pederson, Dave Vasser and Travis Planchard. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge, 550 Lobdell Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70806 or Homeless Women and Children's Shelter and Soup Kitchen, St. Agnes Catholic Church, 749 East Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70802.
