Jacqueline Britt Cole, 97, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, in Shreveport, LA. She was born in Shreveport, LA, and was a longtime resident of Baton Rouge. Jacqueline is survived by her two sons, David Randolph Cole and Wilmer "Will" Clegg Cole Jr. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wilmer Clegg Cole Sr., her parents Earl Homer Britt Sr. and Mary Alda Massey Britt, and her brother Earl Homer Britt Jr.
Jacqueline will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. She cherished spending time with her sons and leaves behind a legacy of love and strength. A visitation will be held Friday, March 8, 2024 at University Baptist Church from 9:30 AM until the service at 11:00 AM. Following the service, a burial will take place at 3:00 PM at Lyles Cemetery in Oberlin, LA.
