Mrs. Lee Templet White passed away peacefully at The Carpenter House on Sunday, December 3, 2017, in the presence of her long-time, devoted caretaker and son, Brian; to rest in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She celebrated her 100th birthday on July 19, 2017. She was a faithful Christian and a member of both St. Thomas More Catholic Church, and Temple Baptist Church. She was a person who was full of life and love for everyone. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melville E. White, and her son, Mark James White; her parents, Lucia Walker Templet and Arcade Joseph Templet; her 4 sisters, Aurelie T. Achee, Mildred T. Achord, Marjorie T. Baum, Hazel T. Lieux; and her brother Sebastian “Sibi” Templet. Survivors include her sons, Brian M. White of Baton Rouge, and his son Mark B. White of Buffalo, New York; Kevin White of Boerne, Texas; his wife, Carla; grandchildren: Matt White and Kim Murphy and spouse, Brian; and great- grandchild, Caroline; and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews. On Tuesday, December 12, there will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church,11441 Goodwood Boulevard, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 70815. A Memorial Service will then follow the Mass at 11am at Greenoaks Funeral Home at 9595 Florida Boulevard, Baton Rouge, LA, 70815. A reception will follow the service and the burial will follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Brusly, Louisiana. Services are under the care of Greenoaks Funeral Home.
