I thank you God for answering my prayer and saving me! Psalms 118-21. Huey Pierce Taylor passed from this life on March 31, 2017 to be with the Lord Jesus Christ in heaven, he was 88 years old. He was a proud father and grandfather and will be greatly missed in this life. He was born on February 18, 1929, was a native of Bush, LA in St. Tammany Parish and resided in Central, LA with his wife of 63 years, Ann Wales Taylor. He retired from Realex Corporation in 1986 with 34 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvis and Ruby Taylor, his first born son, Dennis Wayne Taylor and his only grandson Jackson Pierce Taylor. He leaves his wife Ann Wales Taylor, three sons and two daughter-in-laws, Terry and Lesley Taylor of Zachary, LA, Darrel Taylor of Central, LA, and Randy and Esther Taylor of Watkinsville, GA., and also leaves two precious granddaughters, Rachael Taylor and Caroline Taylor. He is survived by his youngest brother and wife, Dorman and Vermel Taylor of Bush, LA and was preceded in death by two brothers, Talmadge and Carl, and two sisters, Audrey Hill and Ruth Lott. He attended Greenwell Springs Baptist Church and was an avid LSU fan. Huey had a good sense of humor, was a faithful husband, a great Dad and grandfather and a good friend of many. Visitation will be Monday, April 3rd from 5:00 PM till 9:00 PM at Greenoaks Memorial Chapel, and will resume on Tuesday, April 4th at 12:00 PM until the funeral service at 2:00 PM conducted by Rev. Sam Rainey. Burial to follow at Greenoaks Memorial Cemetary in Baton Rouge, LA.
