Glenda Strong Creel

Glenda Strong Creel passed away at the age of 66 on May 26, 2023. She dedicated her life to taking care of her family and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Glenda was an avid LSU and Saints fan, that also loved to cook, entertain, sing and dance. She was always the life of the party no matter where she was. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family. Glenda will be truly missed by all that had the privilege to meet and know her. Glenda is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ronnie; daughter, Dawn Dunbar and husband Steven; grandchildren, Alex and Jacob; 2 stepchildren, Melissa Pedigo and husband Ron; their 3 children Shelby, Luke, Faith; Ronnie Creel Jr. and wife Nicki; their 3 children Ashley and husband Phillip; Brittany and husband Chris; Brantly; 6 step great grandchildren ; Siblings Gail, Daniel, Ronnie, Debra, Connie, Lisa, Carol, Jim and their spouses; numerous nieces, nephews and loving family members. Glenda is preceded in death by parents Dallas and Jeanette Strong; and nephew, John Michael Cooper. Pallbearers will be: Steven Dunbar, Alex Dunbar, Ronnie Creel, Jr., Brantly Creel, Luke Pedigo, Ron Pedigo, Matt Creel, Justin Creel, Bryan Poissot. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation at Greenoaks Funeral home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA., on Thursday, June 1, 2023, from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 2 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
