Gina Castro Adams

She was a graduate of Bonnabel High School and a graduate of Jon Jay beauty school. She loved doing hair and did it professionally for over 20 years. Gina also enjoyed dancing, painting, and spending time with her family and friends. She loved God with all heart and her desire was that others would get to know the love of God as she did. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend.

Gina is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Quinton C. Adams; father, Miguel A. Castro, Sr.; daughter, Emeri Manuela Abigail Adams; sons, Ethan Nathaniel Malachi Adams and Christian K. Edwards; twin sister, Candice Manuela Castro; brothers, Miguel A. Castro, Jr. (Candice), Christiam A. Castro (Heidy) and Dax S. Castro Sr. (Karla), sister-in-law, Maggie Adams; 12 nieces; 10 nephews; 2 great-nephews; and numerous close family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Otilia Gomez Castro; and mother-in-law, Elizabeth Adams.

A visitation for Gina will be held Friday, August 19, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70815 and will resume on Saturday, August 20th from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11 AM.

Gina will be laid to rest in Greenoaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
