Georgia Fagan Giles, a longtime resident of Bossier City, passed away in Baton Rouge at The Carpenter House on January 6, 2012 at the age of 88. She had a passion for gardening and was a great cook. Georgia was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed by many. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, William “Bill” Giles; two daughters, Billy Breland and husband Rodney, and Sherry Taylor and husband Terry; one son, Ray Giles; 5 grandchildren, Chrissa Kvist, Cheyenne Brown, Christopher Cozzalio, Megan Taylor, and Abby Sanderland; and 10 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Horace Fagan and Margaret Hunt; two brothers, Billy Fagan and Horace James Fagan Jr.; and one grandson Tad Taylor. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Monday January 9, 2011 from 10am until service at 2pm. Services will be conducted by Dr. Collin Wimberly and Rev. John Parker. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
