Freddie Rumfola, native of Gulfport, MS and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at the age of 86. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Peter Rumfola; granddaughter, Tracy Ring and husband, Steven; great-grandchildren, Chase and Callie Ring; and brothers, Jack Slocum and wife, Kay, Ray Craddock and wife; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Frances “Dottie” Horton; brother, Clinton J. Slocum. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 10 a.m. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park.
