"Fred was the best husband, father and grandfather anyone could ever wish for and will be dearly missed. He was 77, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Lafayette, passed away September 24, 2018. He was the retired owner of Dawson Engineering Firm. Survived by his wife, Carolyn Fogg Lieux; two children, Leslie Lieux Edwards, and David Michael Lieux and wife, Lucile; sister, Pat Jack; brothers, George and John Lieux; grandchildren, Matthew and Allison Edwards, and Freddie, Arden, and David Michael Lieux. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Nell Lieux and a sister Charlotte Lieux. Visitation at St. George Catholic Church Saturday, September 29, 2018, from 10:00 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am celebrated by Rev. Paul Gros with entombment in the church mausoleum.
