Frank G. Sullivan, Jr., native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA., passed away on Tuesday April 8, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was a self-made business man who started his construction company, FG Sullivan Jr. Construction Company, at the age of 19 and ran his business until the age of 87. He also developed numerous developments throughout Baton Rouge, including Cortana Mall and many subdivisions. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and boss, affectionately called “Chief”, who is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Johnnie Pulliam Sullivan; son, Gary Sullivan Sr. and his wife, Janice of Denham Springs; daughter, Robbie Sullivan Treuil and husband, Tommy of Rosedale; eight grandchildren, Christie Sullivan Heath and husband, Mike of Rush Springs, OK., Brad Treuil and wife, Tonya of Rosedale, Brittni Sullivan of Denham Springs, Brian Treuil and wife, Lindsey of Central City, Gary Sullivan, Jr and wife, Emily of Denham Springs, Kevin Sullivan and wife, Meghan of Denham Springs, Brent Treuil and wife Cassie of Rosedale, and Anna Sullivan of Central City; fifteen great grandchildren, Jadon, Bryce and Peyton Kennard, Trevor and Audrey Heath, Perry and Reid Sullivan, Braxton and Elisabeth Sullivan, Madison and Bailey Treuil, Blaison, Kade and Kellan Treuil, and C. J. Treuil; sister, Joyce Sullivan White of Central City; brothers, Kenneth Sullivan of Central City and wife Glenda, and Larry Sullivan of Baton Rouge and wife Charlotte. He is preceded in death by his son, Darron Sullivan and parents, Frank G. Sullivan, Sr. and Viola Kendrick Sullivan. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Friday, April 11, 2014 from 5PM-9PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 10AM until funeral service at 12PM, conducted by Brother Ron Lowery of Galilee Baptist Church . Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to organization of your choice.
