Frances Altazin Robinson

"Robinson, Frances AltazinFrances Altazin Robinson, a loving, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Amber Terrace Assisted Living. She was 90 years old and a native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA. She was a graduate of Baton Rouge High School and a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed cooking, music, flowers, bird watching, dogs, and spending time with her beloved family.She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Jimmy Lapeze of Baton Rouge and Cheri and Mike Camp of Two Harbors, MN; a son and daughter-in-law, Robby and Sheila Robinson of Baton Rouge; six grandchildren, Melynda and Laura Lapeze, Jaimee Ruh, Angie Thibodeaux, Aimee Beeson, Robby Robinson, Jr.; and seven great-grandchildren, Grant Conway, Evan Ruh, Lexie Carroll, Makayla Thibodeaux, Abby Thibodeaux, Hailey Robinson, and Adam Beeson, Jr.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Athelbert S. (Robby) Robinson; parents, Louis and Meadie Altazin; four brothers; and one sister.  The visitation will be on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East (11000 Florida Boulevard, Baton Rouge, LA 70815) from 9:00 am until the Funeral Service at 11:00 am, officiated by Reverend Eric Greene of Thomson Memorial Presbyterian Church in Centreville, MS. Interment will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers are Robby Robinson, Jr., Zach Thibodeaux, Adam Beeson, Grant Conway, Brandon Ruh, and Evan Ruh.  Special thanks to Dr. Vincent Tumminello, the staff of Notre Dame Hospice and Amber Terrace Assisted Living, Sheila Hebert, Sandy Jarmon, and Dianne Gordon for their loving care, kindness, and compassion.
