We remember with fondness our radiant Evelyn, a devoted wife, cherished mother, doting grandmother, and loyal dog mom. As a skilled medical technologist and an active member of the First Presbyterian Church, her influence was felt deeply. With a heart for giving, she was also involved in the Philanthropic Education Organization.

A true Southern belle, her signature recipes will forever remain family treasures. As a fierce LSU Football enthusiast, her spirit was undeniable. Not to be underestimated, Evelyn once showcased her remarkable skills by clinching the bronze in the Sr. Olympics pistol marksmanship competition, much to the dismay of every venomous snake in Louisiana.

Her legacy is that of a true Steel Magnolia - resilient, graceful, and full of life. We take solace knowing she's now reunited with loved ones and furry companions who left us earlier.

Evelyn, your life was a journey of love, adventure, and friendship. We'll hold onto your memories and cherish them always. Until we gather around that heavenly pot of gumbo once more, rest in peace and love.

Visitation will be on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at First Presbyterian Church 763 North Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70802 from 10:00 am until the Funeral Service at 11:00 am officiated by Rev. Dr. Gerrit Dawson. Burial will follow at Ponchatoula Cemetery US-51 BUS, Ponchatoula, LA 70454.
