Eva Albarez Roche, born August 28, 1925 in Plaquemine and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Landmark Nursing Home of Baton Rouge at the age of 90. Those left to cherish her memories are her four children, Kenneth L. Roche Jr. and wife Ellen, Jo Marie Hulon, Maureen R. Lewis and husband Greg, Linda Levatino and husband Barry; 10 grandchildren, Kenneth “Trey” Roche III and wife Jennifer, Chris Roche and wife Jamie, Erin Casey and husband Brad, Michael Hulon and wife Penny, Michelle Temple and husband Sam, Jake Lewis and wife Summer, Rene Parsons and husband Matt, Brandon Levatino and wife Tasha, Kristi Levatino, and Bradley Levatino and wife Nichole; and 16 great grandchildren, Jared, Austin, Brennan, Emily, Carter, Molly, Liam, Sullivan, Caleb, Gray, Matty, Eva, Easton, Autumn, Antonio and Blakely; 2 brothers, Claude Albarez and wife Georgeanna, Edwin “Black” Albarez and wife Eloise. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Amalie Albarez, husband, Kenneth L. Roche, Sr.; brother, Buster Albarez; three sisters, Viola Haggard, Emily D’Albor and Josie LeJeune. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 6 PM until 8 PM with rosary at 7:30 PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, December 11, 2015 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church from 9 AM until funeral service at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
