Verneta L. Eubanks, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the age of 87. She retired as a receptionist for the East Baton Rouge School Board for over 30 years. She is survived by her children, Deborah Standfill Ross, Gregory Standfill and wife, Marie; grandchildren, Mia Johnson and husband, Derrek, Marc Holloway and wife, Elizabeth, Melissa Murphy and husband, Braden, Christine Blankenship and husband, Chad, and Heather Voisin and husband, Chase; great-grandchildren, Josh Johnson, Catherine Johnson, Lauren Smith, Garrett Holloway, Ashton Murphy, Madalyn Murphy, Brooke Hoffmeister, Johnny Blankenship, Nicholas Blankenship, Kaitlyn Blankenship, Josh Blankenship, and Hunter Voisin; great-great-grandchild, Ashlyn Smith; and sister, Mamie Gunter. Preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Eubanks; former husband, Thomas Standfill; parents, Geede L. Lenderman and Madie Duke Lenderman; and siblings, Viola Simmons, and Kelly Lenderman. Private services were held for the immediate family on Wednesday, November 19, 2014.
