Ernest "Keith" Kelly

Keith Kelly passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021. He was a native of Baton Rouge, LA and a longtime resident of Denham Springs, LA. Keith was a graduate of Acadiana High School, class of ’72. Directly after, he went on to own Kelly’s Carpet Service. He was an expert fisherman and hunter. He loved telling stories of his fishing adventures and passing his knowledge of fishing to his loved ones. Keith was a devout Catholic and always encouraged anyone struggling to follow Christ and always offered to pray for those in need. Keith never met a stranger and will be truly missed by all that knew him. Keith is survived by his children, Kourtney Waguespack (Toby), Shawn Kelly (fiancée, Josie), Lindsey Kelly, Kole Kelly, Kamron Kelly, Todd Silvio (Tracie), Chris Costin (Brandy) and Christi Solar (fiancé, Julius); grandchildren, Jaryn, Jyllian, Jayden, Jensyn, Jansen, Sydney, Jayse, Lila, Arabella, T.J., Tucker, Kobey, Courtney, Charlie and Carli; great-granddaughter, Thea; siblings, Terry Kelly, Fran Kelly and Deirdre Kelly; his former wife, Pam Rigsby; his loyal and furry companion, Boogie; and a host of other loving family members. Keith is preceded in death by his son, Jordan Michael Kelly; parents, Ernest and Nell Kelly; sister, Cheryl Kelly; and his beloved grandparents, Boe and Mary Kelly, and Grady and Iris Adams. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, from 10:00AM until the time of Memorial Services at 2:00PM. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Ochsner Hospital Main Campus in New Orleans, LA. The care he received from the doctors and nurses was outstanding and greatly appreciated for going above and beyond.
