Eric Clayton Swanson passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022, at the age of 64. He was a resident of Geismar, LA. He was an avid Saints fan, loved painting houses, camping, motorcycle rides and playing baseball. But above all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends. Eric is survived by his wife of 37 years, Margie Jarreau; children, Evan (Tyler) and Breanna (John); grandchildren, Elias, Fifita and coming soon, Emma; siblings, Bull (Val), Ferrollyn Yoes (Barry), Barbara Cobb (Don) and Preston (Anita); step-mom, Linda; and a host of other family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walt and Millie; brother, Tracey; sister, Shaunda; nephews, Paul, Craig, Levi and Garrett; and niece, Nevada. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 9am until the time of memorial services at 11am.
