Emma Eunice Wells Aucoin

Emma Eunice Wells Aucoin, 86, a resident of Erwinville, passed away at home Friday, Oct. 14, 2011. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Monday, Oct. 17, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge. Survived by her daughter, Sue Amond and husband Roger; son, Richard Kelly and wife Tanya; sister, Eula Jarreau; brother, Oscar Wells; and four grandchildren, Abbie and Jacob Kelly, Kelli Hebert, and Kurt Amond and wife Nikki. Also survived by six great-grandchildren and better known to them as ÒNee Now,Ó Austin and Alex Hebert, Annalise, Bobbie and Zachary Amond, Madison Barras; and two granddogs Emma and Libby. Preceded in death by her husband, Guy ÒBlackieÓ Aucoin; parents, Jimmy and Cora Wells; brothers, Purvis and Allen Wells; and sisters, Theresa Leonard and Rosalie McAdams. Pallbearers will be Austin Hebert, Alex Hebert, Jacob Kelly, Kurt Amond, Gerald LeBlanc and Woots Wells. Honorary pallbearers are Larry and Janelle Amond, Grace and John Poche, Pap and Lynn Amond and Johnny and Rita Amond.
