Emile was born February 28, 1932, He started attending Louisiana School for the Deaf and graduated in 1952. After Emile graduated, he married Cecilia on February 5, 1955 and had two children. He worked at Post Office for over 20 years before retiring. Emile loved watching sports on TV, especially LSU and Saints football games. He watched “The Price is Right” TV shows every single day.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Emile St. Romain, Sr. and Una St. Romain, his brother, Fred St. Romain and his wife, Alicia and sister, Mildred Trujillo, and his only beloved great-grandson, Zechariah Joseph.
He is survived by his wife of over 61 years, Cecilia St. Romain; two children Emile St. Romain III and Bambi and her husband, Douglas Bortoletto; two grandchildren Randi Brooke Welborn, and Randall Lee Pippins, Jr, two step-grandchildren Allyson and Jake Bortoletto; 3 great-granddaughters, Zion Faith, Zarah Hope Rylee, and Zoelle Grace, and his sister, Sylvana Vicknair.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation, which will be held at Greenoaks Memorial Park & Funeral Home on October 8, 2016 from 1:30 pm- 3:00 pm. Funeral services will be held after the wake service. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park afterwards.
