Elsie Soileau, age 86, passed away on January 10, 2023. She was a devoted wife and mother. Elsie is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, John M. Soileau; parents, Albert Sr. and Eve Hidalgo; siblings, Nelma, Lorraine, Ronald, Wanda, Joe, Albert Jr.; grandson, Eric. Elsie is survived by her son, John C. Soileau; grandchildren, Allison Soileau; great grandchildren, Carson Easley, Cameron Easley, Ava Losavio; sister, Betty. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Vertabell Lanehart, Elsie’s loving caretaker. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at Greenoaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 2:00 pm. 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA 70815.
