Elsie Anne Kidder Rome, 87, born in Arnaudville, LA and a resident of Pride, LA passed away on March 22, 2024. She is survived by her daughters Kim Guerin (Rickey) and Kayren Owen; son, Kirk Rome (Lauri); grandchildren, Katherine Phillippe (Wayne), Tara Moran (Blake), Jared Guerin, Travis Owen (Portia), Trent Owen, Tyler Owen (Jamie), Maci Rome, and Logan Rome; great-grandchildren, Damon Anderson, Connor Owen, Spencer Owen, Karis Phillippe, Kellen Phillippe, Katen Phillippe, Tatum Owen, Jagger Owen, Isabella Moran,Tallulah Owen; great great grandchildren, Oz Anderson, and Oliver Anderson, siblings, Floyd Kidder (Merline), Mary Ellen Walters, and Margaret Maher (Tommy).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald J. Rome, parents, Pierre Lenny Kidder and Evelyn Noel Kidder; sisters, Jane Crawford, Carmen "Connie" Miller, and Judy Mooberry, and brother, Leonard Kidder. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government Street, Baton Rouge, on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service to follow. Graveside services will follow the funeral at Roselawn Memorial Park, 4045 North St, Baton Rouge. Serving as pallbearers will be Jared Guerin, Trent Owen, Travis Owen, Tyler Owen, Logan Rome, Wayne Phillippe, and Blake Moran. Honorary Pallbearers will be Keith Pavlovich and Tommy LaCroix.
