Elsie Faye Polito

"Elsie Faye Bridges Polito passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the age of 90, a native of Pleasant Hill, LA and a resident of Denham Springs.  Elsie was a retired Our Lady of the Lake registered nurse and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She is survived by her daughters and spouses; Vickie and Ed Harris and Darilynn and David Tichavsky, a sister; Barbara Talbot, 16 grandchildren and an ever increasing number of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony F. Polito, parents; George P. and Sophie Glaser Bridges, daughters; Jo Marie Sceroler and Jackie Hood, siblings ; Ceil Parsons, George Bridges,Jr. and Glenn Bridges.  Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East 11000 Florida Blvd. Friday, November 18, 2016 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.  Visitation will resume Saturday, November 19, 2016 starting at 11:00am until 12:30pm services in the funeral home chapel conducted by her grandson Randy Sceroler.  Pallbearers will be her 5 grandsons and a great-grandson.  Special thanks to Legacy Hospice, donations may be made to them in her honor.
