Elizabeth “Betty” Lobell Martrain, native of French Settlement, La. and resident of Baton Rouge, La. passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the age of 79. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister who is survived by her daughters, Gwen Meliet and husband Randy and Dione Ventrella; sons, Jeff Martrain and wife Danielle, and Nickie Martrain and wife Philomena; grandchildren, Nicole Andrews, Johnny Meliet and wife Teri, Blake Meliet and wife Lindsey, Sonny Ventrella, Joey Ventrella and wife Ashley, Jamie Daigle and husband Todd, Ryan Ventrella, Brittany Daigle and husband Jared, Kimberly Dicapo, Nick Martrain IV and wife Dana, Courtney Matherne and husband Colby, Jeffery Martrain, and Hunter Martrain; 21 great grandchildren; sister, Ethel Kimmitt; and brother, Schofield Lobell, Jr. She is preceded in death by her husband, Nick Martrain, Jr., parents, Schofield and Elsie Lobell; and brother, Jim Lobell. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 5pm to 8pm and will resume on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 8am until funeral services at 10am.
