

Elizabeth Ann Guzzino Louviere was born July 3, 1925, in Patterson, Louisiana. She was a graduate of Patterson High School and attended Business College in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She married Gordon J. Louviere, her lifelong love, who lived across the Atchafalaya in Morgan City. She moved to Baton Rouge with her husband, who graduated from Louisiana State University with an Engineering degree. They had two children, Lance and Drew. She and her husband founded Master Maintenance Building Services. After her husband's death, she served as the company's President and CEO. She always appreciated and had deep heartfelt thanks for the many employees who made the company like a family. She especially thanks Ms. Dot Burton, Mr. Ray Chauvin and Ms. Diane Lathers. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; son, Lance; parents, Santo and Mary Guzzino; brothers Leonard (Nod), Joe, Johnny, Gus and Lawrence; and sisters, Jennie, Kathy, and Chris. Elizabeth is survived by her son, Drew; his wife, Myrna; and their son, Drew Michael; Lance's sons, Alex, Nicholas and Joel; and closest and loving sister, Barbara Ganaway. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. With her husband she was an accomplished fisherman enjoying hours of fishing in the Louisiana outdoors. She played tennis and was a member of the Baton Rouge Women's Tennis Association. An avid bridge player, she was a member of The Baton Rouge Bridge Club, but her main interest was her devotion to her family. She, along with her family, were long time members of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Her children and grandchild attended St. Aloysius School, Catholic High School and LSU. Thanks to Elizabeth's caregivers, Pam Henry and Donna Bailey, and an especial thanks to Father Clifton Hill, Drew Michael Louviere, and Myrna Louviere who came to her aid at her final moments. The family wishes to express gratitude to Hospice of Baton Rouge. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government Street, Friday, March 4, 2015, from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will continue at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 2025 Stuart Street, Saturday, March 5, 2015, from 10:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at Noon celebrated by Father Randy Cuevas and Father Clifton Hill. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
