Edwina Clements Duhon

Edwina Clements Duhon, a native of Baton Rouge, LA and a resident of New Roads, LA, passed away on February 2, 2021 at the age of 98 at Pointe Coupee Health Care in New Roads. She was a life long resident of Baton Rouge until moving to Pointe Coupee Healthcare, 13 and one-half years ago. Edwina is survived by her son, J. D. Duhon, Jr. and wife Donna, Douglas Duhon and wife Sandy, a daughter-in-law, Pat Duhon; one grandson, five granddaughters, seven great-grandchildren; and four great- great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. D. Duhon, Sr.; parents, Maurice and Lena Clements; brother, Maurice “Boy” Clements, Jr.; son, James Daniel Duhon; and a grandson, Jason Paul Duhon. Visitation will be at St. Isidore Catholic Church on Monday, February 8, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Baker, LA. The family would like to thank Pointe Coupee Healthcare in New Roads for the care they gave to Edwina while she resided there and Life Source Hospice for the care given to her in the last days of her life. Memorial donations can be made to Life Source Hospice in lieu of flowers.
