A resident of Denham Springs and former resident of Baton Rouge, she died Tuesday, June 11 at the Golden Age Nursing Home, She was 98 years of age. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd. on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the religious service at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by 3 daughters; Kay Bonaventure Jenkins and husband Abner, Marlyn Landry and husband Tommy and Debbie Kleiner and husband Richard and a son, Bob Haddox and wife Pat; 2 sisters, Virginia Stringer and Marita Walters and numerous grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 sisters, 3 brothers. her husband, Robert H. Haddox, Jr., a very special son-in-law; Willie Bonaventure, and a great-great granddaughter, Olivia Grace Bell. Pallbearers will be Todd and Jeff Haddox, Jay Bonaventure, Tommy Wayne Landry, Mark Bonaventure and John Gould. She was a former member of Winbourne Baptist and Park Forest Baptist churches and currently the oldest member of the First Baptist Church of Denham Springs. She was a blessing as a mother, grandmother, Sunday school teacher and choir member. She will be greatly missed.
