Dorothy M. Melilli

Dorothy Magee Melilli passed away on the 13th of June, 2024. She was born in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Dorothy graduated from Enon High school, and furthered her education at Spencer Business College of New Orleans.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Dan Melilli (Kathy), and Randy Melilli; grandchildren, Heidi Melilli Villeneuve (Rick), Tiffani Melilli Joffrion, Wendi Melilli Thaxton (the late Bobby), Kristi Melilli Bastin (Barry), Randy Melilli Jr. (Erica), Erin Melilli Sandefur (Jamie); great-grandchildren, Brittany and Emily Boles, Connor and Baylie Joffrion, Lexi and Luke Thibodeaux, Victoria Anderson, Grace, Brooke, James III Sandefur, Maxton Melilli, Hunter Keck; great great-grandchild, Amelia Mae Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Jasper Melilli; parents, Wilson Magee and Lula Dee Magee; brothers, Earl Magee and Doyle Magee; granddaughter, Chalynn Melilli Keck.

Her family would like to extend a special thank you and love filled gratitude to Kathy Melilli and Sue Cain, for their tireless efforts, and countless hours devoted to our Mother during this past year. There are not enough words to express our gratefulness and love to them. Also a special thank you to the Old Jefferson Community Care Center with their help during these times.

Services will be held Graveside at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge LA 70815 on Thursday, June 20th, 2024 at 10 AM.
