Dorothy Mae Fussell

Dorothy Mae Berry Fussell was born June 30, 1924 and passed away September 7, 2018. She was 94 years old. She was truly a Proverbs 31 woman who was godly, loving, and kind. Her sweet spirit and life inspired all of her family, friends, and all who knew her. She is survived by her two daughters and four sons: Sandra Vige and husband Charles, Billy Fussell and wife Phyl, Michael Fussell and wife Brenda, Eddie Ray Fussell and wife Cindy, Theresa Dove and husband Roger, and Danny Fussell and wife Patty; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren with one due in December, and 7 great-great-grandchildren, with numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, J.F. Harold Fussell, her parents, Henry and Sarah Inez Berry, her sisters Pauline Webb and Phyllis Hammond. She was a long time member of Hooper Road Baptist Church and current member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Sunday September 9, 2018 beginning at 5:00pm until 9:00pm and continuing on Monday September 10, 2018 at 10:00am until service time at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Billy Fussell, Eddie Ray Fussell, Danny Fussell, Michael Fussell Jr., Joshua Hinton, and Daniel Heltz Jr. A special “thank you” to Clarity Hospice with special care given by Jennifer, Ingrid, Stephanie, Jackie, and Mike.
