"Dorothy Mae Gomez Frazee, went home peacefully to be with the Lord on June 9, 2018, at the age of 91. Dorothy was born in Baton Rouge, LA, on November 13, 1926. She loved music, singing, dancing and playing the piano. She enjoyed singing in the choir at St. George Catholic Church; was a member of Catholic Daughters; and active in two Bible Studies. In earlier years, she held offices with the US Postal Auxiliary, and worked as an Executive Secretary with a local Consulting Engineering Firm. Dorothy had been residing in Cedar Park, TX, at Highland Estates Retirement Home for the past six years to be near her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was very active while living at the retirement home and enjoyed playing games, going to exercise class, serving as a New Resident Ambassador, dancing every chance she got and just enjoying life to the fullest! She loved being near her family and participating in all the family events and celebrations. While living in Cedar Park, she faithfully attended St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and made many wonderful friends. She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Frazee Alvara and husband, Ed of Leander, TX; and Patricia Frazee Fryer of Cedar Park, TX; son, Scott Frazee and wife Debbie of Kansas City, MO; two brothers, Hewitt Gomez and Ron Gomez, and wife, Carol; sister, Elaine Gomez Cortelloni; eight wonderful grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Frazee and son, Davis Glenn Frazee; parents, Lawrence F Gomez and Anastasia Gomez; and brother, Griffin Gomez. Visitation will be at St. George Catholic Church, 7808 St. George Drive, Baton Rouge, LA, on Thursday, June 14th, 2018, from 9:00 am, until Mass at 11:00 am, with the Rev. Schatzle, celebrant.
